| This type of lamps is for general lighting services (GLS).
Incandescent bulbs are the most familiar light bulbs in every home around
the world. They are of the oldest electric lamp technology, illuminating
by a hot tungsten filament and therefore do generate heat to provide the
required brightness. As the technology is matured, the production cost is
low. CoolBright incandescent lamp series are designed for an average life
of 1000 hrs, this is sufficient for less frequent use, dimmable lamps or
temporary fitting. |

| CoolBright GLS lamps cover a full range of wattages from 15W
to 100W, with cleared bulb (transparent) or frosted (also called pearl)
bulb. Available with B22 bayonet cap. E27 cap can be provided on bulk order |

Recommendation
This type of lamps are of very low luminous efficiency. It is still essential
for dimmable illumination. For frequent usage, we recommend
you to use CoolBright ESL (Energy
Saving Lamps) to save.
Phasing out
Production of GLS light globes will be phased out
in a approximate 5 years when alternative dimmable lamps with better
luminous efficiency become commercially available.
